PLAYSTATION® 2 TURNS NINE
Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc.
(SCEA) pops the cork on its ninth anniversary of the PlayStation®2 (PS2™)
computer entertainment system, which has been the benchmark for innovation
in home entertainment systems since its debut on October 26, 2000. At the
time of its inception the PlayStation 2 system broke all preconceived
notions of what a video game experience could offer, serving as an
entertainment hub for the whole family with its integrated DVD/CD
technology and online connectivity. Nine years later the PlayStation 2
system is still making its way into living rooms around the world and
welcoming a new generation of gamers, some of whom were not even born when
the system launched.
In fact, one in every three U.S.
households own a PlayStation 2 system and nearly 140 million people around
the world can attest to its great entertainment value, making it one of
the world’s most popular video game systems. The PlayStation 2 system is
responsible for pushing the envelope by introducing popular franchises
like God of War®, Gran Turismo®, Ratchet & Clank® and METAL GEAR
SOLID®, which are continuing to make their way into the hands of new
gamers – young and old. One such franchise, SOCOM, took clear advantage
of online game play and connectivity via the PlayStation 2 system. As a
result, the SOCOM franchise has become one of the most played of all time,
with over 530 million online hours logged since the debut of SOCOM: U.S.
Navy SEALs in 2002. This equates to an incredible 60,000 years of online
play.
The PlayStation 2 system’s library and
fan base continues to grow every day. In the U.S, more than 500 million
software units have been sold for the PlayStation 2 system and more than
485 developers have helped to develop for the platform since its launch..
This number will undoubtedly continue to grow. By the end of this fiscal
year, nearly 10,000 titles in total will be available to PlayStation 2
system owners around the world, including new family-friendly and social
games from our first party studios such as Jak & Daxter: The Lost
Frontier™, Motorstorm®: Arctic Edge and Secret Agent Clank™, as well
as third party titles like Bakugan® Battle Brawlers™, EA SPORTS FIFA
Soccer and WWE®.
With nine years under its belt, the
PlayStation 2 system shows no signs of slowing down and at $99 (MSRP), it
still offers hours of fun for the whole family. The PlayStation 2 system
is well on its way to delivering ten years of value to consumers and will
continue to serve as a testament to the leading innovation and unbeatable
entertainment the PlayStation brand provides its consumers

NETFLIX COMING TO PLAYSTATION 3 IN
NOVEMBER
With Movies Streamed Instantly from
Netflix, Blu-ray/DVD Playback and Downloadable Videos via the
PlayStation®Network, the PlayStation 3 System Offers The Industry’s
Most Comprehensive Options for Watching Movies and TV Shows
FOSTER CITY and LOS GATOS, Calif.,
October 26, 2009 – Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. (SCEA) and
Netflix, Inc. [Nasdaq: NFLX] today announced that they are joining forces
to make thousands of movies and TV episodes from Netflix available to be
streamed instantly to TVs via the PlayStation®3 (PS3™) computer
entertainment system. Netflix expects to begin streaming via the PS3
system next month at no additional cost to Netflix members in the United
States who have a PS3 system.
Today’s announcement pairs two of the
most popular and fastest growing home entertainment brands in the U.S. The
PS3 system’s installed base has reached close to 9 million units in the
United States, and Netflix recently reported 11.1 million U.S. subscribers
as of September 30.
The partnership further solidifies the
PS3 system as the most complete home entertainment hub on the market
today, enabling consumers to play high-definition games, watch Blu-ray
movies, listen to music, view photos, browse the Internet, and download
content from PlayStation®Network - from exclusive games to blockbuster
movies and popular TV shows. PS3 system owners will soon enjoy an
unparalleled experience watching their favorite movies and TV shows
streamed instantly from Netflix, downloading from the PlayStation Network
or watching Blu-ray/DVD media. The Netflix offering expands on the
entertainment experience delivered to PS3 system owners via PlayStation
Network.
For only $8.99 a month, Netflix members
can instantly watch unlimited movies and TV episodes streamed to their TVs
and computers via Netflix ready devices such as the PS3 system and can
receive unlimited DVDs delivered quickly to their homes.
“The PlayStation 3 system has always
been about more than just gaming, and it will soon be the only platform in
the industry to offer consumers such a variety of convenient options for
enjoying movies and TV shows,” said Jack Tretton, president and CEO,
SCEA. “Whether you want to watch content on Blu-ray disc and DVD,
download it from the PlayStation Network’s video delivery service, or
stream videos instantly from Netflix, the PS3 system is the only solution
that offers it all.”
“As instantly watching movies and TV
episodes streamed from Netflix becomes an increasingly popular way to
enjoy the Netflix service, our goal is to rapidly expand the devices that
stream to our members,” said Netflix CEO and co-founder Reed Hastings.
“As a leading game console and Blu-ray disc player, bringing Netflix to
the PS3 system is a real win for both Netflix members and PS3 system
owners.”
Initially, watching movies instantly
streamed from Netflix via the PS3 system will be enabled by a free,
instant streaming Blu-ray disc that is being made available to all Netflix
members. The free instant streaming disc leverages Blu-ray’s BD-Live™
technology to access the Internet and activate the Netflix user interface
on the PS3 system, which must be online via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Netflix members simply slide the disc
into their PS3 systems to reveal movies and TV episodes that can be
watched instantly. These titles are conveniently organized into a variety
of categories based on members’ personal preferences, popular genres,
new arrivals and members’ individual instant Queues. Members can use the
Netflix Web site or navigate directly on their PS3 systems to add movies
and TV shows to their Queues. With the PS3 system’s Wireless Controller,
members can choose a movie to watch from their instant Queues or just play
directly from any of the lists. They also have the ability to read
synopses and rate movies. In addition, they have the option of
fast-forwarding and rewinding the video stream via the Wireless
Controller.
Netflix members and PS3 system owners
can now reserve a free instant streaming disc for PS3 systems by going to
www.netflix.com/ps3. Upon availability, the instant streaming disc will be
delivered for free by first-class mail, generally one business day after
members request it.

THQ reveals new FPS: Metro 2033
More Naruto characters revealed
Classic tracks added to GH 5 DLC
More Jam Sessions for Nintendo DS
TOMY CORPORATION UNLEASHES NEW
CHARACTERS AND THEIR POWERFUL SIGNATURE JUTSU MOVES IN NARUTO™ SHIPPUDEN:
CLASH OF NINJA® REVOLUTION 3
TOMY Corporation today released
brand-new gameplay footage showcasing the distinctive jutsu moves of the
popular ninja from the upcoming Wii™ fighting game, NARUTO Shippuden:
Clash of Ninja Revolution 3. The footage reveals the signature moves of
four never-before-seen characters in the game: Anko, Yugao, Jiraiya and
Tsunade, all executing their unique high-impact combat moves.
Players can experience the game for
themselves on November 17 when they can play as these powerful ninja and
experience new modes in this classic 3D fighting game exclusively for Wii.
With more than 35 characters, the latest iteration in the series features
new and improved gameplay mechanics and for the first time, WiFi gameplay
functionality.
A brief description of each newly
announced character and their special jutsu moves is also below:
Anko is a slower fighter who is melee
oriented. She also has the ability to summon snakes to attack her
opponents. In fact, one of her latent ninja powers is that her snake-based
attacks do more damage. Anko also has an exciting new ability: the option
to change forms and activate her curse seal. After activating the curse
seal, Anko does loads more damage than normal at the cost of some chakra
and continuously losing a bit of health. Opponents, beware!
Yugao is an extremely fast and agile
character who will use her speed to her advantage. A lot of her attacks
take advantage of the Anbu sword she carries, which not only does a lot of
damage, but drives her enemies hard away from her or into the ground. Her
jumping shuriken throw is a nice way to throw off the opponent's
expectations because it changes her trajectory completely.
Jiraiya is a powerhouse, and you would
do well to stay out of his combos, as they can do a great deal of damage.
But he also has a few nasty tricks up his sleeve other than his raw power.
His back strong attack activates Needle Jizo, which covers him in spikes
and does damage to anything that touches it. After knocking an opponent to
the ground, Jiraiya can go up to them and activate it to do unavoidable
ground damage. He's also got a super handy down strong attack that creates
an oil puddle under the enemy. If Jiraiya players can throw their
opponents, they can quickly activate down strong, and the enemy will land
in it, then be thrown back up into the air, giving Jiraiya enough time to
come back into range to juggle into a combo.
Tsunade is a melee centric character who
uses her super strength to her advantage. One of Tsunade's basic
techniques is the disruption ability- in any combo that uses strong
attack, when the player holds it instead of pressing it quickly, it will
confuse the enemy's inputs, making them all reversed. Tsunade has the
ability to break giant cracks into the ground but these are relatively
unsafe because they only control horizontal space very low (on the ground)
and they are slow recovery moves. The trick is to use this ability to chip
away at opponents while they are grounded after a combo. Her forward
strong flick is a unique ability that can "catch" falling
opponents and flick them away, and is a nice way to punctuate a combo (and
do additional damage).

KONAMI ANNOUNCES ROCKET KNIGHT FOR
XBOX LIVE® ARCADE, PLAYSTATION®NETWORK AND STEAM
Sparkster Returns on Next Generation
Consoles in Classic Gameplay with All-New 2.5D Side-Scrolling Rocket
Action Series
El Segundo, Calif. - October 20, 2009 -
Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced Rocket Knight is
currently in development for the Xbox LIVE® Arcade, PlayStation®Network
and for PC download via Steam. The popular 2D side-scrolling title first
released on the 16-bit SEGA Genesis™ and later on the Super Nintendo
Entertainment System™, Rocket Knight debuts on next generation consoles
fifteen years later with updated graphics and alluring new environments.
"Konami's classic 2D action
platform titles have a legacy of being well received and enjoyed by gamers
worldwide," said David Daniels, Director of Marketing at Konami
Digital Entertainment Inc. "So it was only natural that we bring
Sparkster, our favorite opossum hero, to next generation consoles with a
combination of elevated graphics, all new environments and of course, the
signature rocket action gameplay."
In Rocket Knight, players take on the
role of a fiery opossum named Sparkster who returns home to the Kingdom of
Zephyrus after 15 years to find it in shambles. Using wits and a trusty
rocket pack, players must steer clear and overcome a hostile wolf army
looming to take the lives of the Zephyrus people. A 2.5D action adventure
title, Rocket Knight brings expansive new worlds, each with massive
platform levels and a rocket flying level. As players navigate through the
challenges, their rocket pack can be used to ricochet off walls, launch
Sparkster through obstacles and enemies in his way, and rocket drill
through weak walls to create new passageways. Along with burst projectiles
that shoot from Sparkster's sword to attack distant foes, a burst vortex
can also be created from players' rocket pack to repel enemy bombs back at
them. If all else fails, players can use Sparkster's prehensile tail to
hang from and slide down rails in order to avoid danger. With timed levels
and leaderboards, dedicated players will also be able to show off their
high scores and fastest times online.

Playstation 3 Slim swells sales
Band Hero tracks revealed
Ubisoft launches casual site
Playstation 3 sales jump on Slim model & price cut
According to industry trackers NPD, Sony's recent price-drop/slim relaunch
had a somewhat desirable effect as the console sold nearly 500K units in
September, more than doubling the previous month. It was still outsold a
tad by the DS, but led the Wii and Xbox 360 in sales. The PSP and PS2 sold
fewer units, but still sold a respectable amount of units. Microsoft has
some reason for solace, since Halo 3: ODST sold more than a million units
to top the charts last month. However, its hold on the top slot looks
tenuous, since the Wii version of Press Your Luck will probably dominate
October sales. There's some dispute over whether Beatles: Rock Band or
Guitar Hero 5 sold more copies by volume or single copies, but no one
except the company PR reps really care. 2009 looks like it will end on a
high note. Between hardware price cuts and software, this looks like a
competitive holiday season.

Award-Winning UNCHARTED 2: Among
Thieves Debuts Exclusively on the PlayStation(R)3
Naughty Dog, Inc.'s Genre Defining Action Shooter Demonstrates Power of
PS3(TM) Mixing Story Telling and Gameplay to Provide Consumers with the
Adventure of a Lifetime
FOSTER CITY, Calif., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Sony Computer Entertainment
America (SCEA) announced today the North American launch of UNCHARTED 2:
Among Thieves exclusively for the PlayStation®3 (PS3(TM)). Developed by
Naughty Dog Inc., the acclaimed development team that produced UNCHARTED:
Drake's Fortune for PS3 and the Jak & Daxter franchise for
PlayStation®2, UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves blends together the art of
cinema and gaming to bring players a level of realism never before seen on
a game console. With an extensive, story-driven single-player mode and
thrilling competitive multiplayer and cooperative modes, UNCHARTED 2:
Among Thieves demonstrates Hollywood blockbuster moments of roller coaster
tension and exhilarating action through environments and characters
brought to life by the most advanced graphics currently available on the
PS3 system.
UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves picks up the
story of Nathan Drake, a fortune hunter with a shady reputation and an
even shadier past who is lured back into the treacherous world of thieves
and mercenary treasure-seekers. In this adventure, Drake embarks on a
journey that will push him to his physical, emotional, and intellectual
limits as he seeks to discover the truth behind the lost fleet of Marco
Polo and the mythical Himalayan valley of Shambhala, and ultimately
recover the legendary Cintamani Stone. Along the way Drake encounters a
rogue paramilitary leader and fugitive war criminal who's seeking the
treasure for his own nefarious purposes. Accompanied on this quest by
allies both old and new, Drake is forced to confront crises of loyalty and
betrayal within an underworld of smugglers and thieves.
"Since the first game play
demonstration shown at E3 2009, UNCHARTED 2 has remained one of the most
award winning and anticipated title launches for 2009," said Scott A.
Steinberg, Vice President, Product Marketing, SCEA. "What sets the
game apart from anything else on the market is that Naughty Dog has not
only been able to deliver on the spectacle, they have infused it with
meaning and emotion by telling a story that is so character driven it sets
a new bar for the video game industry and is a technical masterpiece that
truly demonstrates the capabilities of the PS3."
The Naughty Dog 2.0 engine provides
UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves with an open design, which allows players to
take an aggressive or stealth approach to combat. While in combat Drake
can jump across gaps in buildings during a rooftop fight, or drop off of a
ledge to use the building as protection, opening up the opportunity for
players to use the environment itself as a cover. In addition,
free-flowing traversal gunplay adds a unique vertical element to familiar
cover-based third-person shooting mechanics, allowing the player to engage
in combat from any position in the environment - even while climbing or
hanging. The environment also serves to challenge the player to interact
with moving set pieces. Players will find themselves fighting through
collapsing buildings, or battling enemies on a train taking sharp turns
and moving around obstacles.
UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves holds a
variety of visually stunning environments from lush, green swamps and
dense urban environments, all the way to trains, rooftops and the ice and
snow of the Himalayas. In these environments, players will experience
dramatic in-game events that make them an active participant in the
cinematic experience. With combat at the core, players will experience
gunplay and varied combat enhancements, including an expanded melee
system, and a variety of enemy types with advanced AI routines. The
journey is balanced with the addition of puzzles that include climbing,
exploration, and the need for careful observation.
"This game just couldn't have been made on any other system; the Blu-ray
is maxed and the entire game is played without loading thanks to the Hard
Disc Drive," said Christophe Balestra, co-president, Naughty Dog.
"Naughty Dog is known for pushing hardware; this is the most
ambitious game we have ever made and the game PS3 owners have been waiting
for."
The sheer amount of detail in UNCHARTED 2 sets an industry standard and is
an achievement that only PS3 can provide. The Naughty Dog 2.0 engine
creates a milestone in technology innovation by recreating reality and
capturing human emotion and gives the game flawless visuals, life-like
environments, seamless cut scenes, and no visible loading - a Naughty Dog
hallmark. Complete with studio-scale effects, including 7.1-surround sound
audio that rivals Hollywood's biggest blockbuster films, cutting-edge
artificial intelligence, voice and motion capture, UNCHARTED 2 delivers
the ultimate next generation game play experience.
Competitive Multiplayer and Cooperative
Modes
In addition to the addicting
single-player action, UNCHARTED 2 offers robust cooperative and online
multiplayer modes that bring the graphical quality of single-player with a
wide variety of gameplay options. Competitive multiplayer supports up to
10 players, and offers a wide selection of match types from Deathmatch to
Gold Rush across 7 different maps. Utilizing a robust party system, groups
of players will remain together in ranked and custom matches while earning
currency, which used in combination with currency earned in single player
missions, will unlock additional content and upgrades. The competitive
multiplayer also includes Cinema and Machinima modes that enable gamers to
automatically record gameplay data for any match in any map and game type.
Players can then head into Cinema to watch the recorded matches and then
replays, screenshots and footage that can be made into videos in Machinima
mode. Cooperative mode allows gamers 3 distinct scenarios for up 3 players
to progress through a variety of environments by working together to
accomplish set objectives.
The independent Entertainment Software
Rating Board (ESRB) rates UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves "T" for
"TEEN" (Descriptors: Blood, Language, Suggestive Themes,
Violence). For more information about the ESRB, visit www.esrb.org.

Graffiti Entertainment reveals North
American box art for ‘Rogue Trooper® the Quartz Zone Massacre’ on Wii
Graffiti Entertainment Inc - a
subsidiary of Signature Devices, Inc. (OTCPK: SDVI) – today released the
North America box art for ‘Rogue Trooper®: The Quartz Zone Massacre’.
This WiiTM game has been developed by UK developer Rebellion.
Rogue Trooper® is a genetically
engineered soldier of the future, and is unique in videogames as he has an
distinct armoury; a rifle, helmet and backpack, which contain the ‘personalities’
of his fallen comrades, providing him the capabilities of 4 soldiers in
one. A ‘biochip’ is installed within each ‘Genetic Infantryman’ or
‘GI’ from birth that then records their personalities and training
until their death. These biochips are then removed and can then be
inserted within energized slots on a fellow GI’s rifle, helmet or
backpack to secure them for their return to base and re-cloning.
Rogue Trooper®: The Quartz Zone
Massacre is the story of how Rogue Trooper® and his comrades are betrayed
by a traitor general on their first mission to an area of Nu Earth known
as the Quartz Zone. Only Rogue survives and, joined by his fallen comrades
within his equipment, he begins a journey across Nu Earth to find the
general and unleash his revenge!
Rogue Trooper® is one of the 2000 AD’s
most endearing characters. First appearing in 1981, he was created by
Gerry Finlay-Day and Dave Gibbons of Watchmen fame and was intended to run
only a few years, but fans continually demanded more adventures. Rogue
Trooper® has also enjoyed many reincarnations as a videogame throughout
the last 20 years, most recently as the critically acclaimed and BAFTA
nominated 3rd person shooter on PS2, Xbox and PC.
The Wii version promises to provide a
more immersive gameplay experience with the unique Wii control interface
where kill shots are more accurate and grenades can be launched with the
flick of a wrist. In addition, Rebellion has provided additional tweaks
and polish to the overall game ensuring the Wii version of the game is the
very best yet.
Rogue Trooper®: The Quartz Zone
Massacre will be released in Q4 2009.

Army of Two goes comic
EA and IDW Launch Army of Two and Dragon
Age Comics
REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:ERTS)
announced today that it has signed a deal with IDW Publishing to expand
two of its intellectual properties, Army of Two™ and Dragon Age™, into
comics under a new EA™ Comics imprint with IDW beginning in January. EA
and IDW will launch monthly, ongoing series for both Army of Two and
Dragon Age. Each issue will be published in print and distributed
nationally at comic book outlets, with digital versions released for
iPhone™ and iPod® Touch and other emerging digital platforms.
“We’ve seen an increasing number of
video game tie-ins with comics over the last few years. This marks another
step in our strategy for extending EA’s wholly-owned game properties to
new media. It is exhilarating to be working with the comic book creators
directly,” said Mike Quigley, Group Vice President, Global Marketing, EA
Games Label.
Under terms of the agreement, EA will
fund and manage the creative aspect of the comic book series, while IDW
will be responsible for printing and distribution. IDW is the leader in
digital comic book distribution and the nation’s third largest comic
book publisher overall.
“This is a great opportunity for IDW
to work with a worldwide leader in video games,” said Greg Goldstein,
chief operating officer for IDW. “We look forward to bringing a
tremendous amount of great content into the comics market.”
Written by veteran comic book writer
Peter Milligan (X-Men, Batman, Hellblazer), Army of Two is being published
as a comic starting in January 2010. Rising star Chester Ocampo is the
cover artist while the interior artist/penciler, Dexter Soy, is a ‘hot
newcomer’ on the comic scene. Soy’s work suggests influences from
well-known comic artists such as Whilce Portacio and Leinil Francis Yu.
The first story arc, “Across the Border,” follows ex-Army Rangers
Salem and Rios as they form their own Private Military Corporation: Trans
World Operations. The story of the comic follow the events of the first
Army of Two game but takes place before the deadly invasion of Shanghai by
The 40th Day initiative in the videogame sequel. In the comic, Salem and
Rios get more than they bargained for as they are unexpectedly caught in a
brewing war between the Mexican Army, drug cartels, and The Maras – one
of the most powerful street gangs in Mexico.

Naruto characters enter Clash
Majesty 2 gets patched up
TOMY CORPORATION REVEALS NEW
CHARACTERS UNLEASHING SIGNATURE JUTSU IN UPCOMING Wii FIGHTING GAME NARUTO™
SHIPPUDEN: CLASH OF NINJA® REVOLUTION 3
TOMY Corporation today released all-new
gameplay footage revealing the four latest characters activating their
special jutsu moves in the highly anticipated Wii fighting game NARUTO
Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3. The never-before-seen footage
highlights the special fighting moves of Kurenai, Hinata, Kiba and Shino,
four characters taken directly from the popular Naruto manga. Exclusive
for Nintendo Wii and available November 17, the classic 3D fighting game
features new and improved gameplay mechanics, more than 35 playable
characters, multiple gameplay modes, and for the first time, Wi-Fi
multiplayer functionality. A brief profile of each new character is
included below:
Kurenai is a genjutsu user and a tricky
opponent. Her down strong attack is useful because it creates a cloud that
"crumples" the opponent, leaving them unable to block during a
combo attack. Her back strong attack can also be used as an automatic
teleport to the backside of the enemy. Even trickier, if she finds her
opponent is expecting the teleport, Kurenai can hold the strong attack to
expend extra chakra to remain hidden until strong attack is released.
Hinata specializes in the gentle fist
style much like Neji but is not as fast of a fighter. Her combo strings
can become very long if Hinata can successfully combo cancel at the right
moments. She also has a handy jump attack that propels her horizontally
while jumping which adds an element of surprise in an aerial attack and
allows her to move about the map unexpectedly.
Kiba is an energetic character with
great speed. His summersault attacks can have tremendous start up speed
and vault him toward the enemy very quickly making Kiba excellent at
catching an enemy off-guard. Another one of his assets is his dog Akamaru
who follows him onto the battlefield. Akamaru's attacks are very useful
because they can be delayed and delivered at will. When holding a strong
attack, Akamaru will take an attack stance and Kiba can continue to attack
with a weak attack. Since Akamaru's attacks lift the enemy when they
strike, players will find great ways to juggle from combo to combo using
careful control of Akamaru.
Shino can be a tricky opponent because
of the bugs under his control and their varying speed and duration of
delivery. Shino can unleash his crawling bugs, strafe around opponents and
combo them to fall into the bugs, which will continue combo strings. Other
bugs will deploy from under the opponent and grab their feet to keep them
from moving. For Shino, it's important to control the movement of his
opponents by keeping them on their toes to avoid the bugs.

COME ON DOWN! UBISOFT® SHIPS TWO NEW
GAME SHOW TITLES
The Price is Right® 2010 Edition and
Family Feud® 2010 Edition Now on Store Shelves
SAN FRANCISCO – October 1, 2009 –
Ubisoft today announced the official launch of two new classic game show
titles: The Price is Right 2010 Edition and Family Feud 2010 Edition. Both
games are currently available for the Wii(TM) system from Nintendo, the
Nintendo DS(TM) system and Windows-based PC, and feature single- or
multiplayer modes so that more people can get in on the fun and play
together. Additionally, each game allows players to design and customize
their own personal avatar and also offers a host of special unlockable
content to reward players as they progress. The games have been created by
Ludia and are licensed by FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME).
Just like on the top-rated TV show, the
Family Feud 2010 Edition game pits two families against each other in a
contest to name the most popular responses to survey-type questions posed
to 100 people. The game includes all the familiar and favorite elements of
the show such as the scoreboard, face-offs, strikes, stealing and fast
money rounds. Authentic stages, theme music and game sounds create a
true-to-show game experience, and thousands of questions keep gameplay
fresh for hours of entertainment that friends and family of all ages can
enjoy. Additionally, a new text input feature allows for even faster and
more intuitive gameplay. The automatic spell checker will correct
spelling, predictive text input makes typing answers lightning fast, and
synonyms / concepts are grouped together to produce correct answers when a
response is close enough to the survey answer.
Now packed with even more popular
pricing games than ever (including Golden Road, Safe Crackers, Secret X
and many more) plus tons of new and upgraded game graphics and
customizable avatars, The Price Is Right 2010 Edition is the closest that
fans can come to Contestant's Row, the Big Wheel & the Showcase
without actually being on the show. Featuring two distinct game modes
(Classic, where contestants must win at Contestant's Row before getting
access to pricing games and Three Strikes, where contestants get three
tries to make it on stage to play pricing games), there are hours of fun
to be had for the entire family.
